This is a two-day course with the emphasis on recycling envelopes, wrapping papers and waste paper from your computer printer. We begin by making natural-coloured and brightly-coloured papers out of this scrap, adding plant materials, dyes and other bits and bobs in order to make a whole series of unique papers. Later on that first day, we make some collage surfaces which, along with the paper, will dry overnight and be ready the next day for turning into a variety of styles of hand-made books. This is a really great opportunity to turn genuine scrap into works of art!
