This weekend celebrates our love of recycling all manner of materials by creating amazing surfaces from which you will build your own individual wall clock. You will prepare the wood with a variety of paint effects, then embellish these surfaces with stitchwork, decoupage and collage, and incorporate a variety of ephemera such as buttons, ribbons and dried plant materials, all of which make a unique and useful artefact to grace your home. You can even start collecting scraps of paper and materials to use at the workshop – tissue paper, Christmas wrapping paper, coloured envelopes, stamps… £170 per person, sharing a twin-bedded or double room, £190 per person, single occupancy |
