This three-day workshop allows you to combine the creative potential of batik and machine embroidery with the practical skill of making cushion covers.
The whole of the first day will be spent producing a good number of vibrant batik samplers, from which you will choose a few to take forward to the next stage, which is machine embroidery (the rest can be stitched once you get home)!
On the second day, using a variety of embroidery techniques, you will embellish these surfaces with stitchwork.
There may also be the opportunity to use other decorative items such as ribbons and buttons.
You will then use the final day to make these surfaces into a selection of magnificent cushion covers, guaranteed to bring
life to any interior.
