Travelling Workshop

On the first day of this fun weekend we will use a variety of coloured fleece to make felted surfaces, felt beads, balls and buttons. Later on in the day, whilst this work is drying, I will demonstrate methods of making larger felted surfaces using recycled materials such as old blankets and jumpers. On the second day, we will combine some of these felt surfaces and accessories, using both machine and hand-stitching, to make a range of useful artefacts, such as handbags, cushion covers, tea cosies and hot water bottle covers.
