Make a Toran in Two Days

Travelling Workshop

A toran is an Indian banner traditionally hung over a doorway to welcome visitors and to bring luck to all those who cross the threshold. They come in many designs and are full of vibrant colour, giving great opportunity for creative fun for the textile enthusiast. This is an ideal project for two days of fabric-painting, cutting, rearranging, sewing and embellishing a unique work of art, which can be hung over a door, window or bed and which make an ideal wedding present!

All materials provided.
